Hi there! I’m Isabella, a writer, critic, and arts administrator born in Caracas, Venezuela. I received my B.A. in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory from the University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean literatures. In addition to cold reading book proofs for Penguin Random House, I review new fiction releases for Publishers Weekly and work as development assistant at Latino Book Review, where I also coordinate public programming under the Library of America’s Latino Poetry: Places We Call Home initiative.
